Job Title: Animal Welfare Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Animal Welfare Manager to join our team at JBS USA Holdings, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting animal welfare audits, delivering hands-on animal handling training, coordinating PQA training and certifications, and actively participating in program support for the JBS Live Pork Texas - Colorado Region.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct and provide feedback on internal animal welfare and transportation audits (40%)
* Deliver hands-on training to Field Managers, contract growers, and live haul drivers (30%)
* Coordinate and attend 3rd party audits (10%)
* Assist with record keeping, reporting, and development of internal programs and materials (10%)
* Serve as a resource to internal and external stakeholders (10%)

Working Conditions:

* Extensive travel required
* Must be comfortable working in hog production facilities and around live animals

Required Qualifications:

* Must be able to become PAACO Certified
* PAACO Certification Requirements:
+ B.S or higher with relevant livestock experience of 3 years within the past 5 years
+ Associates degree with relevant livestock experience in 5 of the last 7 years
+ High school diploma with relevant livestock experience of 10 years within the past 15 years
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Bilingual: English-Spanish strongly preferred
* Self-motivated
* Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to handle conflict
* Comfortable in training situations
