We are seeking a talented physician to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care, advancing medical knowledge, and promoting health and well-being in our community.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide direct patient care for outpatient populations and supervise/residents and medical students as an Infectious Diseases consultant and attending.
  2. Participate in scholarly activities, including quality improvement projects, clinical research, and educational scholarship.
  3. Contribute to the development of innovative undergraduate and residency curricula in Infectious Diseases.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to advance the mission of the Department of Internal Medicine and the Dell Medical School.

Requirements

  • MD degree with Board Certification (or Board Eligibility if within 2 years of residency) in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine.
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas.
  • Strong clinical teaching and communication skills.
  • Training and experience in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Eligible for appointment as an assistant professor or higher level.
  • Record of leadership and achievement in academic medicine.
