MCI is a leading manufacturer of motor coaches, and we are seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician to join our team. As a Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining the body and frame components of our coaches.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair body and frame components, including riveted, spot-welded, and perimeter-welded parts, panels, frame members, and bulkheads.
- Remove, repair, and replace parts, including lights, doors, windows, glass, moldings, upholstery, and body accessories.
- Perform welding and metal preparation tasks.
- Straighten frames and ensure accurate repair time estimates.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in automotive body repair.
- Proficiency in the use of pneumatic riveter, sanders, grinders, hydraulic pullers, pressure painting equipment, standard fastener equipment, oxygen/acetylene welding, ARC, MIG, and T.G. welding equipment, and body filler material and fiberglass.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and provide own small hand tools and body repair tools.
- Pre-employment drug test and background screen required.
