Roskam Foods is seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Lead to oversee and perform tasks from the Master Sanitation Schedule assigned by the Plant Sanitation Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety standards, ensuring compliance throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce all elements of food safety within the plant.
- Maintain cleanliness of entrances, floors, utility areas, and storage areas.
- Manage and document line clean-ups, enforcing safety rules and regulations.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ensure proper completion of tasks outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule.
- Understand and implement manufacturer's instructions for cleaning products.
- Manage all aspects of line clean-ups, including inspections and compliance with specific clean-up requirements (e.g., organic, wash, allergen, kosher).
- Report any discrepancies related to HACCP Programs, Allergen Program, GMP Findings, Hold Procedures, and others to supervisors.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in sanitation preferred.
