As a Service Advisor, you will be the main liaison for our service department, providing guidance and support to customers throughout their service experience. Your role is vital in fostering a positive atmosphere that enhances customer satisfaction while contributing to the dealership's overall success.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time role that offers a competitive salary structure, with potential earnings ranging from $45,000 to $80,000 annually, inclusive of a base salary and commission. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with a 401(k) retirement plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers with a professional demeanor, ensuring exceptional service at all times.
- Understand customer concerns regarding their vehicles and provide accurate service estimates.
- Manage service appointments efficiently, coordinating the repair and maintenance process for multiple clients.
- Maintain communication with customers during the repair process, offering updates and addressing inquiries.
- Explain recommended services and associated costs to customers, securing approval prior to any work.
- Develop and nurture customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Work closely with service technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs.
- Utilize dealership software to manage and update service records effectively.
- Stay informed about new products and services to promote sales and customer engagement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training is preferred.
- Experience in a customer service role, ideally within the automotive sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to multitask and perform efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance services.
- Proficient in dealership operational software and systems.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
