Foodservice Director Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned Foodservice Director with expertise in contract foodservice account relationships to join our team at Gecko Hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of foodservice operations for our contract accounts, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including groups such as Aramark and Sodexo
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create innovative menus, promotions, and special events that align with client objectives
  • Manage budgets, P&L, and financial performance for assigned accounts
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing foodservice team
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant and equivalent Foodservice Director role, preferably within contract foodservice or higher-ed settings
  • Proven success with brands such as Aramark, Sodexo, or similar contract foodservice companies
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proximity to Norfolk, Hampton, or Chesapeake areas of Virginia, as the final location will be determined based on the selected candidate
