About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team at The Menta Education Group. As a Paraprofessional with Registered Behavior Technician Certification, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs in our educational setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with classroom instructors and staff to provide targeted teaching and support to students.
  • Manage classroom behaviors and implement behavioral program policies and data.
  • Provide general supervision of students and assist in the prevention and management of incidents of non-compliance and/or escalation in behavior.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide interventions to students to assist in managing behaviors.
  • Think quickly, independently, and tactfully to address student needs.
Qualifications
  • Certified Registered Behavior Technician
  • Paraprofessional Certification is ideal, but not required (we will help you obtain that)
  • Security or Juvenile Justice background is helpful
  • Military Veterans are encouraged to apply
  • Good driving record and willingness to drive student van (No CDL needed) is strongly preferred
  • Ability to operate tactfully under stress
  • Flexibility to change in routines
  • At least 23 years of age
  • Able to work with high-risk special needs students

We work with students to help determine motivators to reward encouraged behavior in and out of school.
