About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Program Associate to work within the HIV and Hepatitis C (HCV) Prevention Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and coordinating the non-clinical aspects of health care programs or projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain appropriate programs, projects, and liaisons in assigned regions.
  • Participate in planning, organization, and implementation of statewide health programs.
  • Initiate and oversee public relations efforts.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with state, community, or public agencies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on planning and progress of programs.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and interpret data.
  • Advise and participate in formulation of task forces within or outside the agency.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Seven (7) years of professional experience in a health organization.
  • One (1) year of experience in health care program administration, a health systems agency, or other health care organization in at least one of the following areas: grant writing or monitoring, formal program planning, development, management, or evaluation, program consultation, or public relations activities.
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with experience in:

  • Implementing action plans for improvement and presenting results.
  • Developing grant applications and contract language.
  • Conducting contract monitoring activities.
  • Using online data collection methods to identify public health messaging needs.
  • Working with communities impacted by HIV/HCV or drug use.
