- Professional Security Management Certification: A professional security management certification, such as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), is required.
- Proven Track Record in Developing Information Security Policies and Procedures: A proven track record in developing information security policies and procedures, as well as successfully executing programs that meet the objectives of excellence in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of Common Information Security Management Frameworks: Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or ISO 27001.
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent Knowledge of Technology Environments: Excellent knowledge of technology environments, including telecommunications, networks, programming, media, and desktops.
- Strong Understanding of Security Risks and Threats: A strong understanding of security risks and threats.
- Experience Implementing Security and Protecting Internet-Facing Applications: Experience implementing security and protecting internet-facing applications in multiple major public cloud environments.
- Experience in Protecting Personal Information, Healthcare Information, and Children's Privacy: Experience in protecting personal information, healthcare information, and children's privacy.
- Working Knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, and CPPA: Working knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, and CPPA.
