Direct Support Professional II

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional II to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a DSP2, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives.
Job Summary:The Direct Support Professional II assists adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives in a home setting. This includes assisting with complete care of dietary, hygiene, grooming, and dressing needs. You will also redirect behaviors with various activities, including walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects.
Responsibilities:- Assist with daily routines, including meal preparation, hygiene, and dressing
- Redirect behaviors with various activities, including walking, reading, games, math, and computer projects
- Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in their Individual Program Plan
- Pick-up and drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary)
- Participate in training, classes, and support to achieve certification
- 1 year of professional or personal experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (e.g. Autism) or mental illnesses (e.g.
- Valid in-state driver's license, over 21, current registration, and insurance
- Driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
