- Provide an exceptional customer experience by selling merchandise and meeting customer needs in-store and through virtual selling.
- Leverage product knowledge and digital resources to increase sales by educating customers on product choices and expanding their merchandise options.
- Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions, focusing on size and fit in apparel areas.
- Promote services by leveraging company assets and utilizing sales promotion calendars to drive sales.
- Develop and maintain relationships throughout the store to problem-solve and create the best possible outcome for customers.
- Communicate with Sales and Customer Experience Managers and provide daily customer feedback to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain department recovery standards, including selling floor and fitting rooms.
- Adhere to asset protection control and compliance procedures.
Requirements:
- Focused on upholding Macy's dedication to diversity, inclusion, and respect.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information to customers, peers, and all levels of management.
- Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- At least 1 year of selling or retail experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing/walking around the store or department.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld electronic equipment.
- Reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, color vision, and climbing ladders.
- Lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
