Responsabilidades:

  • Consultas con Pacientes: Realizar consultas exhaustivas con los pacientes para comprender sus objetivos, preocupaciones e historiales médicos. Proporcionar información detallada sobre las opciones de cirugía plástica disponibles, beneficios y riesgos potenciales.
  • Procedimientos Quirúrgicos: Ejecutar una variedad de procedimientos de cirugía plástica y reconstructiva, incluyendo, pero no limitado a, aumento de senos, rinoplastia, estiramientos faciales, liposucción, abdominoplastia y contorno corporal. Utilizar las técnicas y tecnologías quirúrgicas más recientes para lograr resultados óptimos.
  • Cuidado Preoperatorio y Postoperatorio: Coordinar y supervisar el cuidado preoperatorio y postoperatorio de los pacientes. Educar a los pacientes sobre las preparaciones preoperatorias y las expectativas de recuperación postoperatoria. Monitorear el progreso de los pacientes y abordar cualquier complicación de manera oportuna.
  • Colaboración con el Equipo Médico: Trabajar en colaboración con otros profesionales médicos, incluidos anestesiólogos, enfermeras y personal de apoyo, para garantizar una atención integral al paciente. Participar en reuniones interdisciplinarias para discutir casos complejos y desarrollar planes de tratamiento.
  • Educación Continua: Mantenerse al día con los avances en cirugía plástica, asistir a conferencias y participar en educación continua para mejorar habilidades y mantenerse al tanto de las tendencias de la industria.
  • Mantenimiento de Registros: Mantener registros de pacientes precisos y detallados, documentando consultas, procedimientos y citas de seguimiento en cumplimiento con las regulaciones y estándares médicos.
  • Educación del Paciente: Educar a los pacientes sobre el proceso de recuperación, riesgos potenciales y cuidado a largo plazo. Proporcionar información clara y concisa para ayudar a los pacientes a tomar decisiones informadas sobre sus planes de tratamiento.

Calificaciones:

  • Título médico de una escuela de medicina acreditada.
  • Finalización de un programa de residencia en cirugía plástica reconocido por ABMS.
  • Certificación o elegibilidad para la certificación en Cirugía Plástica.
  • Licencia médica estatal.
  • Experiencia comprobada en la realización de una variedad de procedimientos de cirugía plástica.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación e interpersonales.
  • Gran atención al detalle y compromiso con la seguridad del paciente.
