Position Overview:
BAE Systems is in search of a skilled Systems Engineering Lead to oversee a diverse team of engineers dedicated to developing and deploying critical military capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Your role will encompass managing the systems engineering content and deliverables, which involves:
1. Establishing the requirements baseline.
2. Overseeing design and integration processes to successfully implement this capability.

Technical Leadership:
Under your guidance, the team will employ digital engineering and model-based systems engineering methodologies to:
- Conduct operational concept development.
- Perform feasibility studies.
- Engage in design, development, performance modeling, and hardware/software evaluations.

Communication:
This position requires preparing and delivering technical presentations for both internal stakeholders and customer engagements.

Work Environment:
This role necessitates full-time on-site collaboration due to the nature of the responsibilities involved.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- An active DoD Top Secret clearance, with eligibility for TS/SCI and additional SAP/SAR clearance.
- Prior experience in leading a medium-sized team of Systems Engineers.
- Proficiency in systems engineering tasks throughout the development lifecycle, including analysis, decomposition, derivation, allocation of requirements, system modeling, simulation, design, development, integration, and testing.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with Radar applications and familiarity with technical performance metrics and cost account management are advantageous. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, particularly in interactions with upper management and clients.

Educational Background:
A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline with 11 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 9 years of experience is preferred. Familiarity with model-based systems engineering tools, such as Magic Draw, and Agile Systems Engineering practices is also beneficial.

Compensation:
The full-time salary range for this position is $239,140, reflecting our market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by various factors, including business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.
