Position Overview: The Perioperative Registered Nurse is accountable for the nursing duties associated with the care of patients undergoing surgical or other invasive interventions. The nurse will provide care for adult patients, including the elderly, as well as pediatric patients from one month to adolescence.
Our service offerings encompass gastroenterology, podiatry, ENT, ophthalmology, and general surgery.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- A minimum of two years of prior experience in the Operating Room.
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
- Current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
- Familiarity with policies and procedures specific to the role of an operating room nurse.
USPI adheres to federal, state, and/or local regulations regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If selected for this position, proof of full vaccination or an approved religious or medical exemption will be required prior to the start date. Individuals receiving an exemption will be subject to regular testing as mandated by law.
