Coordinates care, conducts resident assessments, educates residents, and performs various nursing interventions. May serve as a charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of practice.
Ensures safe and reliable administration of resident care, resolving concerns and providing support to delegates. Functions within the scope and standards of nursing practice, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in their state of practice.
Qualifications
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or possesses multistate licensure in a Nurse Licensure Compact state. Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
