Position Overview:

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, development, and analysis of mechanical engineering systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering design efforts for Mechanical and Plumbing systems
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of applicable Building, Mechanical, and Plumbing Codes
  • Design mechanical systems and perform energy modeling analysis and compliance assessments
  • Create engineering analyses, drawings, and layouts utilizing Revit and AutoCAD software
  • Draft technical specifications for construction projects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants
  • Conduct field observations to ensure construction quality and adherence to specifications

Additional Responsibilities:

a) Assist in managing project timelines and delegating tasks to team members

b) Deliver technical presentations to both internal and external stakeholders

c) Prepare project fee estimates

d) Contribute to the training and professional development of junior staff

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
