Senior Metal Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at GPAC. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining hydraulic press equipment to shape metal materials used in manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Expertise: Operate complex mechanical press equipment to trim, punch, shape, notch, draw, or crimp metal stock according to blueprint specifications.
- Maintenance and Setup: Assemble, install, and align dies in press machines, using various tools and equipment to ensure precise alignment.
- Quality Control: Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample work pieces to ensure conformance to customer specifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment regularly to prevent rust, stains, and damage.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate production and quality logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience (2 to 3 years) is required; vocational school or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Experience: Five plus years of experience working with hydraulic press equipment and a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- Skillset: Intermediate math skills, advanced measurement skills, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and standards.
As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy competitive compensation, including an estimated $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on location and experience.
