Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our technical team at Wilson Language Training. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions using modern technologies and frameworks
  • Mentor junior members and provide guidance on best practices
  • Manage work item state and ensure projects are built to Wilson specifications and industry standards
  • Ensure security and quality of projects
  • Participate in release planning and support the success of released projects
  • Propose architectural directions for projects
  • Communicate project progress and provide documentation as needed
  • Research and prototype new technologies as requested
  • Monitor the quality and security of projects using static code analysis tools
  • Respond to and resolve defects and outages in WLT software
  • Mentor and guide other developers in their professional development

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience building dynamic web applications using .NET C#, JavaScript, CSS, and Web APIs
  • Experience with JavaScript front-end frameworks such as Angular or Svelte
  • Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working on agile development teams
  • Good understanding of databases, tools, and techniques used for object-to-relational mapping
  • Experience integrating off-the-shelf solutions and understanding build vs. buy decisions
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GIT, and Visual Studio for task and source code management
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms
  • Proficient in object-oriented design and development
  • Knowledge of common architectural patterns, SOLID principles, OWASP top-ten, and industry-accepted best practices

Salary Range: $88,000 - $130,000
