As an Inventory Manager, your primary responsibility will be to execute comprehensive receiving, auditing, replenishing, and disposal procedures in accordance with company policies and state regulations. You will also be tasked with ensuring the physical arrangement of all products to maximize efficiency and accountability within the dispensary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in supervisory duties and administrative tasks.
- Receive all incoming product shipments accurately and efficiently, adhering to New York State regulations.
- Input all received products into Compliance, POS, and ERP Systems.
- Transport products to designated areas within the facility, including the vault, back room, and sales floor.
- Maintain cleanliness and optimal organization of all inventory processing and storage spaces.
- Conduct and reconcile inventory cycle counts.
- Perform and reconcile various audits related to inventory and compliance.
- Ensure the inventory room and vault are consistently stocked and organized according to company standards.
- Efficiently fulfill online pick-up and delivery orders.
- Prepare for and engage in all scheduled physical inventory audits.
- Communicate inventory issues effectively, both in writing and verbally, to management and the store team.
- Maintain compliance with all New York State legal and company regulations pertaining to the industry.
Compensation:
Annual salary of $55,000 USD
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in the cannabis industry within a retail setting.
- Background in inventory management in a retail environment.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working independently or collaboratively, demonstrating sound judgment and resourcefulness.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Exhibit a high level of professionalism and integrity, especially when handling confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Possess the three H's: Honesty, Hardworking, Humble.
- Must pass all required pre-employment screenings.
- Must comply with all legal and company regulations relevant to the industry.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physical requirements include the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree is preferred.
- Understanding of New York cannabis regulations and a commitment to furthering knowledge in the industry.
