Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication abilities, and a problem-solving mindset.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform general accounting responsibilities, including participation in the month-end closing process, review of high-risk asset accounting, and other complex accounting research and processes.
- Assist and participate in preparing financial data for the bank's quarterly federal and state call reports, annual consolidated balance sheet, income statements, statements of change in capital, and statement of changes in financial position.
- Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects, analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis and prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Five to seven years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in a banking environment, or three to five years of financial planning and analysis experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting concepts, financial modeling skills, and technical writing and reporting abilities.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
- Ability to work in a team environment under the direction of multiple managers and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and branch managers.
