- Production Coordination: Collaborate with production teams to align schedules with customer demands, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Contract Management: Oversee customer contracts and bids, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Respond to customer needs through various communication channels, maintaining high service quality and satisfaction levels.
- Provide precise customer quotes and bids, with a clear understanding of costs and delivery timelines.
- Effectively communicate any changes in terms and conditions to customers.
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts to align with the strategic and financial objectives of the organization.
- Offer monthly updates on forecasts, pricing adjustments, and quarterly evaluations.
- Utilize knowledge of customer specifications to assist production in prioritizing manufacturing needs, ensuring timely and budget-conscious results.
- Participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to guarantee proper lead times and order fulfillment.
- Attend necessary meetings and training sessions as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Internal: Collaborate with company personnel across various departments.
- External: Engage with customers, vendors, and industry peers.
- A minimum of ten years of experience in a relevant field.
- Strong skills in contract language and writing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines; self-driven and proactive.
- Capable of working effectively with all organizational levels and facilitating cultural change.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Experience in training personnel across various operational shifts.
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Effective budget management within the Commercial department, positively impacting profits and margins.
- Feedback on customer satisfaction.
