Peak is a distinguished dining establishment situated on the 101st floor of a modern architectural marvel, offering breathtaking vistas and positioned above the highest outdoor observation deck in the city.

As a Concession Attendant, your role involves preparing and serving food and beverages to patrons. The specific menu items and responsibilities may differ based on the location and nature of the concession stand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional hospitality to all guests, ensuring prompt and efficient service in a dynamic environment, with a focus on speed and accuracy.
  • Accurately take orders from customers, prepare and serve food and drink items, process payments, and issue bills.
  • Execute opening, closing, and operational tasks as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all surfaces, equipment, and workstations according to management's schedule.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of ingredients and food service techniques to confidently address customer inquiries.
  • Organize the food and beverage display area to meet established standards and restock items to maintain minimum inventory levels.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow team members, including servers, assistants, and food runners, to enhance service quality.
Equipment Handling and Setup:
  • Load and unload equipment to designated areas as necessary.
  • Transport equipment using hand trucks, dollies, or other moving devices.
  • Safely navigate equipment through confined spaces and around obstacles.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of equipment at the designated location.
  • Adhere to specific guidelines for proper placement and arrangement.

Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with NYC Department of Health regulations.
  • Experience with Point of Sale systems.
  • Solid understanding of food and beverage offerings.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Genuine interest in the hospitality industry.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends.
  • Ability to positively influence the actions and decisions of others.
