Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at First Bancorp. As a key member of our Corporate Banking division, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our corporate clients, providing them with tailored financial solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the corporate banking segment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their financial needs and providing them with customized solutions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including credit analysts and loan officers, to underwrite and analyze loan requests
  • Present loan proposals to the credit committee and respond to related requests accurately and efficiently
  • Work with the Corporate Banking Head to develop and implement strategies for corporate banking activities, including complex financing transactions and loan syndications
  • Maintain a sound operating environment, including a balanced risk management approach and adherence to applicable policies and regulatory requirements
  • Provide leadership to ensure that staff has the required competencies to assess the value of businesses, structure financing proposals, and market the Bank's products and services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration, or related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration, or related field, preferred
