Operating Room Support Professional

At Seattle Children's, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist II to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective care of patients in the operating room.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operative procedures, ensuring that the OR environment is safe and equipment functions properly.
- Perform duties that facilitate the safe, effective, and efficient care of surgical procedures, including maintaining a sterile environment and handling instrumentation.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care, including assisting with patient positioning, preparing surgical sites, and maintaining asepsis.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
- Provide education and training to staff members on surgical procedures, instrumentation, and techniques.
- Graduation from a Surgical Technologist Program or applicable military surgical technologist course of study.
- Minimum three years of current Surgical Technologist experience.
- Current Washington state registration as a Surgical Technologist.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- National certification as a surgical technologist (preferred).
