Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services for young children in both Early Intervention and Preschool settings.

Location: Riverhead, NY

Compensation:

  • Early Intervention: $64-$75/hour, with potential earnings of approximately $150,000/year.
  • Preschool: $70/hour, with potential earnings of approximately $100,000/year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative therapeutic strategies tailored to individual and group needs.
  • Conduct and document occupational therapy evaluations.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors regarding case management.
  • Ensure professionalism in interactions with families and educational teams.
  • Keep accurate records of attendance and billing.
  • Coordinate schedules with families and educational personnel.
  • Track progress on IFSP/IEP goals and provide quarterly reports.
  • Participate in initial meetings and annual reviews for children.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
