About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer who is detail-oriented and possesses a strong understanding of the construction sector. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of various infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Timely Delivery of Project Documentation**
- Accurately interpret and assess project drawings and specifications.
- Efficiently manage submittals, Requests for Information (RFI), payment applications, potential change orders, permits, and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP).
- Utilize AutoCAD for drawing reviews and Microsoft Office for document updates.
- Employ Excel for effective data management and communicate job cost phasing with site personnel.

2. **Project Schedule Management**
- Keep all stakeholders informed regarding project timelines.
- Use KeyStyle for monitoring field worker timecards and Primavera P6 for creating and updating project schedules.
- Understand critical paths and contractual timelines, ensuring preparedness for project meetings.
- Develop and maintain a three-week look-ahead schedule while adhering to budget constraints.

3. **Support for Project Management**
- Maintain open communication with owner representatives.
- Conduct SWPPP inspections and manage the submission of necessary documentation.
- Prepare and submit traffic control and mobilization plans.
- Coordinate effectively with utility companies and manage permit collections.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year in an administrative or receptionist role.
- Preferred experience of 1 year in a construction environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in project engineering.
