Job Overview

The Multifamily Maintenance Professional plays a vital role in ensuring the quality of our residents' living experience. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the upkeep of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repairs: Prepare make-ready apartments, including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, and general repairs, to provide a high-quality move-in experience for our residents.
  • Resident Support: Respond promptly and professionally to resident requests, demonstrating a commitment to delivering superior customer service.
  • Maintenance Functions: Possess knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, general carpentry skills, painting, and snow removal (if applicable) to effectively address maintenance needs.
  • Grounds and Amenities: Maintain clean, operational, and safe grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities for our residents to enjoy.
  • On-Call Scheduling: Be prepared to respond to after-hours emergencies as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report any maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring seamless communication throughout the team.
  • Training and Development: Attend and participate in training programs as required by Cushman & Wakefield, enhancing your skills and knowledge to excel in this role.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school certificate.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of related experience in maintenance or a similar field.
  • Certifications: Valid Driver's license, EPA 608 - Minimum Type II, and local city required certificates.
  • Skills: Ability to read/understand documents, compute rate/ratio/percent, prepare and interpret bar graphs, and utilize common sense understanding.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $21.25-$25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
