Medical Laboratory Assistant I

Emory Healthcare (EHC) is a leading academic health system in Georgia, and we are seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant I to join our team in the clinical and anatomic pathology laboratories.
The primary responsibilities of this role include performing and evaluating semi-technical laboratory procedures on patient specimens, test material/reagents, blood products, and quality control material.
This position requires the ability to work in various areas of the laboratory, including registering patients, ordering tests, collecting samples, and assessing the acceptability of samples for testing.
Additional responsibilities include processing samples for testing, including centrifugation, aliquoting, storage, and shipping.
