About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Qurate Retail Group. As a key member of our Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Services (CREWS) department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of general maintenance and service responsibilities, including installations, maintenance, repairs, and fabrication of plant equipment and facilities.
  • Assignments include building maintenance, phone data and electrical wiring, HVAC equipment, and plumbing.
  • Conduct periodic inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities following an established testing and preventive maintenance schedule and report findings.
  • Work from mechanical and electrical schematic drawings, sketches, manuals, specifications, and written and oral instructions.
  • Work directly from work orders and use hand and power tools and other equipment to complete assignments.
  • Follow all company safety and security procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
  • 5 years related maintenance experience required.
  • Must have primary and secondary trade skills, including electrician, carpenter, pipefitter, air conditioning mechanic, welder, and machine repairer.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, chiller/boiler equipment and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as assigned.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and ability to bend, reach, and lift above shoulder.
  • Ability to push and pull loaded pallet jacks, climb stairs, and work on elevated surfaces/platform.
