We are in search of a Radiologic Medical Assistant to join our team, ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality, efficient care to all patients. If you are passionate about patient care, we would love to have you on our team.
Key Responsibilities and QualificationsWe are looking for a Radiologic Medical Assistant who will provide expertise and champion patient care. Our team is dedicated to supporting one another and we seek an exceptional addition who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing various clinical tasks in support of providers and nursing staff, including taking vital signs, patient histories, lab specimens, and EKGs. May apply splints, dressings, and bandages as directed. Responsible for preparing, maintaining, and cleaning examination rooms.
- Checking patients in and out of the system and assisting the Patient Representative with front desk duties.
- Greeting patients and managing front desk responsibilities, including checking patients in/out of the system, end-of-day closeout procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks, and records release.
- Maintaining records and logs of activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent to external labs.
- Conducting equipment and supply audits as scheduled.
- Collaborating closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator, and all clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma as required by the state.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Services program.
- Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in the state of residency.
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
- Ability to obtain BLS Certification within 30 days of employment.
- Must acquire Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
