Trauma Quality Improvement Program Overview
Trauma Quality Improvement Program (MTQIP) is a collaborative quality initiative that aims to improve trauma care outcomes. As a Clinical Reviewer, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and reporting clinical data elements for MTQIP/TQIP eligible cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze clinical data elements for MTQIP/TQIP eligible cases
- Work collaboratively with trauma program registry staff, clinical staff, and trauma program manager to ensure timely and accurate data submission
- Develop and implement standard practices, policies, and procedures to support effective and efficient data capture
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent BSN
- 5 years of relevant experience as a RN or equivalent (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant)
- 2 years of relevant experience in a trauma care or related setting
- Previous experience with data abstraction from medical records and/or analyzing and interpreting processes of care and clinical outcomes
