We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at Dungarvin. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Eugene, Oregon area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a float capacity.
  • Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide companionship and personalized care with respect and dignity, encouraging independence and self-care.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
  • Implement positive behavior supports and prepare meals and snacks.
  • Perform light household duties and provide mobility and transfer assistance, including using mechanical lift devices.
  • Participate in community activities and outings and assist with transportation needs.
Requirements
  • Must be available to work Tuesday-Friday and every other weekend.
  • 1+ years of DSP/Caregiver experience required, preferably in residential services.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle to travel between programs and provide transportation to clients.
  • Must be able and willing to learn different supports, from medical to behavioral.
  • Have a passion to help others and work well independently.
  • Dependable and adaptable with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
