Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Professional to join our team at Smith Air Conditioning Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, modify, and replace warm air furnaces, air conditioners, duct distribution systems, boilers, water heaters, and related piping and electrical systems to meet or exceed manufacturer recommendations and local codes.
  • Start up installed equipment and adjust to manufacturer and job specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair issues that arise during installation to ensure proper equipment function.
  • Communicate with consumers regarding equipment operation and maintenance, answering related questions and providing documentation for each installation.
Requirements
  • Customer service attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of products and services offered, requiring additional study and training as needed.
  • Familiarity with various municipalities' plan requirements, permit requirements, and submittal processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, accurately list and order materials, and work under time constraints and budgetary limits.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and Word, and familiarity with smartphones, email, and Outlook.
  • Capacity to understand client needs and continuously learn through training and independent study.
