Enterprise Government Sales Professional with Impact Focus

We are looking for a motivated Government Enterprise Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team. As a sales professional, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within the government sector.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a top-rated Grants Management and Social Impact Platform, leveraging your sales, research, and relationship-building skills to uncover new business opportunities and establish meaningful relationships with key decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the government sector.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within top state departments and agencies.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives (AEs) to schedule and facilitate meetings with qualified prospects.
- Utilize tech stack tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, and Gong to maximize outreach efforts.
- Provide expert support to prospects, showcasing deep industry and product expertise.
Requirements:
- 6+ months of sales development experience, focusing on cold outreach (calls, emails, social selling).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse target personas.
- Comfortable multitasking, managing processes, and tracking sales activities using CRM tools like SalesForce.
- Proven ability to connect with prospects, generate interest, and move leads through the sales pipeline.
- Self-driven with a passion for achieving goals, experimenting with new strategies, and constantly striving for success.
- Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment, able to pivot as needed to meet evolving needs.
- A team-oriented mindset and excitement to contribute to the success of a high-growth company.
Salary Details: The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 per year, with a pay mix of 85/15 (base/commission). Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
