Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technician to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Medical Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of licensed Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide patient care and support
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitoring, including vital signs and medical history
  • Perform IV starts and blood draws, as permitted by state law
  • Apply splints and provide wound care
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain point-of-care laboratory equipment
  • Perform EKGs and assist with daily functions of a mobile care delivery unit
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
  • EMT or Medical Assistant certification in good standing
  • Nevada state license to practice
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs easily
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
