Job Summary

Allegiance Industries Inc is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, connecting, testing, and maintaining electrical systems for various purposes, including lighting, climate control, security, and communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and connect electrical systems in manufacturing facilities, waste water treatment plants, and other structures.
  • Work with blueprints to ensure accurate installation of electrical systems.
  • Indicate on blueprints the location of circuits, outlets, load centers, panel boards, and other equipment.
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems to minimize inconvenience.
  • Replace items such as circuit breakers, fuses, switches, electrical and electronic components, or wire.
  • Collaborate with engineers or engineering technicians to ensure technical accuracy.
  • Perform electrical testing and monitoring of systems and make recommendations for improvement or repair.
  • Carry personal tools, such as on a waist tool belt, which weighs approximately 30 lbs.
  • Maintain good housekeeping, including sweeping work areas, organizing tools and materials, and keeping surfaces clean.

Requirements
  • Technical ability: technical and mechanical skills necessary to read and understand blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Physical fitness and dexterity: many jobs require certain levels of fitness due to the nature of the environment in which the work is performed.
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code.
  • Detail-oriented: have a keen eye for detail in following safety standards and project designs.
  • Independence: work on assigned tasks by yourself with very little help.
  • Reliability and responsibility: be accountable and trusted to show up on time and produce consistent, quality work.
  • Positivity: offer support and encouragement to your teammates and show pride in yourself and our company.
  • Diligence: be hardworking, have a great work-ethic, and exceed expectations.
  • Flexibility: adapt and change as needed.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Successful completion of a background and drug screening.
  • Ability to detect safety hazards within the building and communicate with appropriate staff as well as follow all mandated safety requirements.
