Job Summary:

First Student Shared Services is seeking a highly skilled Bus Monitor to join our team. As a Bus Monitor, you will be responsible for providing operational oversight and day-to-day management of our school bus routes. You will work closely with our drivers to ensure the safe and reliable transportation of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational oversight and day-to-day management of school bus routes
  • Work closely with drivers to ensure safe and reliable transportation of students
  • Assist in pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
  • Communicate with school personnel, students, and parents to ensure smooth operations
  • Attend all safety and training meetings to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail
  • Early morning availability
  • Judgement/problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage high degrees of stress
