Job Title: Coil WinderJob Overview

Komatsu is seeking a skilled Coil Winder to join our team at our Longview, Texas Manufacturing Facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work safely and be an advocate for safety
  • Follow instructions and repeat basic procedures of the winder position
  • Clean and maintain equipment, tooling, and area
  • Select and load materials for the winding process
  • Attach, alter, and trim materials using hand tools
  • Make accurate connections using solder and brazing process and equipment
  • Set up and operate equipment and tooling required for the winder position
Qualifications/Requirements
  • 2 years of experience or equivalent knowledge of motor/coil winding duties
  • Broad knowledge of parts and procedures regarding the motor/coil winding process
  • Ability to work independently, holding close tolerances, minimizing scrap within standard routing hours
  • Strong blue-print reading skills
  • Must successfully pass background check, pre-employment physical, and drug/alcohol testing
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required
