Job Summary:

Komatsu is seeking a skilled Coil Winder to join our team at our Longview Texas Manufacturing Facility. As a Coil Winder, you will be responsible for winding coils and other electrical components using various machines and tools. This is an entry-level position that requires 2 years or less experience. If you have a strong attention to detail and are able to work independently, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Work safely and be an advocate for safety
Follow instructions and repeat basic procedures of the winder position
Clean and maintain equipment, tooling, and area
Select and load materials such as work pieces and machine parts onto equipment used in the winding process
Attach, alter, and trim materials such as wire, insulation, and coils using hand tools
Make accurate connections using solder and brazing process and equipment
Set up and operate all of the equipment and tooling required for the winder position

Requirements:

Entry-level position with 2 years or less experience
Ability to work independently, holding close tolerances, minimizing scrap, and working within standard routing hours
Excellent attention to detail
Must successfully pass background check, pre-employment physical, and drug/alcohol testing
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required
