Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, including fetal and maternal monitoring, pain management, and patient education.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Supervise and mentor less experienced nurses and nursing assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current Tennessee State RN license
  • At least one year of professional nursing experience in labor and delivery or a related field
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
