Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at The Davis Companies. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engineering calculations and equipment selection for electrical systems
  • Research and interpret applicable codes and laws related to electrical systems
  • Design and develop electrical systems, including renewable energy systems
  • Perform feasibility analysis and provide facility master plan reporting
  • Analyze and report on engineering options for sustainable design
  • Prepare engineering drawings and specifications
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and contractors
  • Conduct on-site inspections of construction

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in building electrical systems
  • Expertise in design of building electrical systems and knowledge of energy conservation strategies
  • Electrical Design and Fire Alarms experience
  • Ability to commute to the greater Boston Area one to two days per month
