Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Design Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and providing construction administration for facilities as a design consultant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Design and provide construction administration for facilities as a design consultant
  • Develop and implement electrical engineering solutions that meet the needs of our clients
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program
  • Professional Engineer Registration in at least one State
  • Ability to seek reciprocity with other State Registration Boards
  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing and providing construction administration for facilities as a design consultant
  • Knowledge of Military, Justice, or water treatment desirable
  • Basic knowledge of building, electrical, fire codes and standards to determine engineering calculations, equipment sizing and selection for different voltage systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Revit desirable
  • VisualPro and/or AGI32 experience desirable
  • SKM PowerTools for Windows experience desirable
  • Past facilitation of LEED Certification or Green Globes desirable
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to plan project resources, maintain schedules and stay within budget
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Desire, motivation and ability to exceed the firm's and clients' expectations
  • Dedication and willingness to continue professional growth
