Job Title: Personal Banker I

Civista Bank is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Personal Banker I to join our retail banking team. As a Personal Banker I, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, providing exceptional service, and utilizing a consultative sales process to proactively offer solutions to meet their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers daily to build relationships and provide personalized service.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services to effectively meet customer needs.
  • Process transactions, open new accounts, and perform maintenance tasks to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Meet cross-sell goals and solve problems efficiently to drive customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with new procedures and systems to continuously improve our services.
  • Ensure operational tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and bank policies to ensure the safety and soundness of our customers and the bank.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of previous teller experience required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Above-average knowledge of technology and willingness to adapt to new software technologies.
