About the Role

The University of Miami is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at the Lennar Foundation Medical Center in Coral Gables. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing complex procedures in Mammography, operating radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images with minimal radiation exposure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage scheduling and patient flow for interdepartmental procedures.
  • Supervise and perform diagnostic imaging studies under the direction of a radiologist.
  • Assist with the education and training of new physicians.
  • Participate in research initiatives and develop new protocols and imaging techniques.
  • Act as a team leader and monitor charging of procedures and supplies daily.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Diagnostic Imaging Program.
  • Valid State of Florida License as a General Radiographer.
  • ARRT registered with ARRT certification in Mammography.
  • CPR and BLS certification required.
  • Three years of relevant experience required.
