Mammography Tech Position Overview

HealthCare Support is seeking a skilled Mammography Tech to join our team. As a Mammography Tech, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography exams on patients according to established protocols and physician orders. You will ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform mammography exams on patients according to established protocols and physician orders.
* Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
* Maintain accurate patient records, including exam documentation, patient history, and pertinent clinical data.
* Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to review imaging results and assist in patient care decisions.
* Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimize radiation exposure risks for patients and staff.

Requirements:

* Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology approved by the AMA Council of Education.
* Minimum of 1 year of pertinent experience.
* Active Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
* Registered as a Mammography Technologist (ARRT).
* Registered as a Radiography Technologist (ARRT).
* Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Compensation:

* $43.65/hr (depending on experience and tenure).

Shift:

* 9am - 5:30pm.

Up to $15K Sign on Bonus (varies by department).
