Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial analysis, with excellent technical skills and attention to detail. As our Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting, including month-end close processes and financial statement compilation.

You will be responsible for reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing adjusting entries, and maintaining prepayments and intercompany reconciliation. Additionally, you will assist in leading bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations, as well as record fixed asset additions and disposals, and calculate depreciation.

In this fast-paced environment, you will need to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain superior time management, multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills. A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to hustle in a dynamic setting are essential qualities for success in this role.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ferocious attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong quantitative and strategic thinking skills
  • Superior time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA certification or in pursuit of certification
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • General ledger accounting experience in a manufacturing industry
Work Environment:

This position will be based in our Ft. Myers, FL office, with occasional remote work opportunities. You will report directly to the Finance Supervisor and be part of our dedicated finance team.
