Job Title: Linux Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator to join our team at V2 Innovations in Boston, MA. In this role, you will play a vital part in designing, deploying, and supporting robust infrastructure solutions for EOHHS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate in the design, deployment, and support of infrastructure solutions for EOHHS.
  • Provide day-to-day support and administration for operating systems including Linux/Unix, IIS, Apache, and Windows.
  • Manage infrastructure within both AWS public cloud and on-prem hosting environments.
  • Participate in an on-call production support rotation to ensure 24x7 availability.
  • Deliver up-to-date documentation and training to various EOHHS teams as required.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with Windows administrators to provide comprehensive system support.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Linux administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Windows, Weblogic, Apache, and IIS administration will be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Swarm) and management systems.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience delivering Information Technology projects to medium/large enterprises.
  • Experience with storage management (NAS, SAN, AWS storages, etc.) is desirable.
  • Proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting, and diagnosing across the entire IT technology stack.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective written/verbal communication, and ability to contribute positively to team dynamics.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to audiences with diverse technical backgrounds.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Windows, Weblogic, Apache, and IIS administration.
  • Familiarity with container platforms like Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Swarm.
  • Expertise in storage management, including NAS, SAN, and AWS storage solutions.
