Job Title: Embedded Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team at Apolis. As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software features for Smart Glasses and Wrist devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain software features for Smart Glasses and Wrist devices
  • Maintenance of the stability of the services and implementation of tests to ensure quality
  • Triage, debug, analyze, and fix issues reported by QA, DF community, and customers
  • Help device bring up, feature onboarding, and migration, and AOSP up leveling
Requirements:
  • Android/AOSP / CoreOS, Android Core Frameworks, Linux OS focus
  • Experience with coding in C/C++
  • Strong understanding of lower-level OS (core components/core OS)
  • Experience with Embedded Systems
  • Experience working with microcontrollers
  • Experience with device drivers
  • Microcontrollers/bootloaders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with any of the following: Android internals, AOSP, Zephyr RTOS, or FreeRTOS development
  • 3+ years of experience developing MCU or AOSP consumer electronics systems
What We Offer:
  • Experience with system performance tools and debugging hardware
  • Experience with Android frameworks and services
  • Understanding of E2E software development flow, able to use various tools effectively to address issues
