Our local restoration company, specializing in water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation, is in search of skilled technicians for our production team. Candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply and provide details of their previous workplaces for validation.


Job Overview:

As a Restoration Technician, you will oversee and execute projects in accordance with established processes. You will respond to service requests, organize efficient workflows, coordinate job requirements, maintain documentation, and supervise production tasks while ensuring quality control from initiation to completion. Adherence to safety protocols on-site is essential. Building and maintaining relationships with commercial, insurance, and residential clients is a key aspect of this role.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Clarify processes and address customer inquiries as necessary
  • Monitor and respond to customer needs to ensure satisfaction
  • Communicate clear expectations to team members and oversee their tasks
  • Execute production tasks as scheduled while ensuring quality standards
  • Identify and mitigate safety risks to protect all individuals on-site
  • Resolve issues promptly as they arise
  • Maintain accurate job documentation for all projects
  • Control production costs effectively
  • Safeguard and utilize equipment and materials appropriately
  • Keep vehicles, equipment, and workspaces clean and organized
  • Engage in sales and marketing efforts, including upselling services
Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience in cleaning and restoration is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • IICRC certifications are a plus
  • Willingness to travel locally or out of state as needed
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Exposure to various chemicals
  • Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods
  • Capability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces
  • Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of objects
