Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee cost accounting functions, ensuring precise reporting of production costs.
  • Develop and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and standard costing (materials, labor, and overhead) within ERP systems across various locations.
  • Lead annual standard cost updates through collaboration with different departments.
  • Conduct monthly reviews and reconciliations of cost variances.
  • Implement and manage perpetual inventory systems at all locations.
  • Facilitate monthly closing processes and engage in budgeting activities.
  • Ensure accurate inventory reporting and reconciliation.
  • Deliver timely and precise financial data, including product costs.
  • Collaborate with plant managers to analyze manufacturing processes for improved decision-making.
  • Uphold the integrity of accounting systems and perform account analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 4 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, verify financial documents, and communicate financial information effectively.
  • Proficient in relevant software and computer systems.
